"Abu Dhabi Global Registration Authority" Member of "The implementation group of the International Forum for Audit Organizers"

Abu Dhabi, May 22 / WAM / The registration authority in Abu Dhabi International ADGM announced today that it has officially joined the work group concerned with the implementation of the International Forum for Independent Audiar Organizers to be the only member of the group from the Middle East region.
This comes after it was previously announced that it had the full membership of the forum early 2024 to become the fifty -sixth member.
It is noteworthy that the registration authority is the authority to oversee the audit work in Abu Dhabi International, and its responsibilities include the application of appropriate organizational procedures to audit companies and the relevant authorities if necessary, as the registration authority joined the work group concerned with implementation with the most prominent regulatory authorities concerned with auditing from all over the world, including the Financial Reports Council in the United Kingdom, the Supervisory Council on Accounting Public Companies in the United States of America, the Financial Services Authority/ Accountants Authority Accredited jurists and the Japan Audit Supervision Council.
The Implementation Group of the International Forum of Independent Audit Organizers was established in 2013, and aims to enhance coordination efforts in the field of implementing audit procedures, including investigations, to contribute to protecting stakeholders and improving the quality of audit.
The membership of the registration authority in the group is evidence of its commitment to applying the highest standards of audit quality and reports, in addition to realizing the importance of organizational cooperation and exchanging knowledge and experiences between regulatory authorities in light of the world of today’s globalization.
In line with the regulatory priorities for the period between 2024-2025, the registration authority is obligated to enhance high standards to ensure the quality of audit and take decisive and appropriate implementation measures at the appropriate time.

Elizabeth Barrett, head of the work group concerned with the implementation of the International Forum for Independent Auditors, welcomed Abu Dhabi Al -Alamy as a member of the group, and expanding the scope of the judicial jurisdiction and visions that this will bring in favor of all members of the forum.
