Issa Hilal Al -Hazami stressed that the tournament bears the global character, as it includes 350 players and players from 60 countries, pointing out that the eighth edition of the tournament holds a record number of participants, which confirms the great work that the club’s board of directors is heading headed Chess.

He explained that the gains in the championship are multiple at the technical, administrative and organizational levels and experiences gained for national cadres, as the tournament comes in the community of society 2025, and perhaps the presence of this large number of nationalities under the umbrella of the Sharjah Chess Club is in line with the slogan of this year besides that the tournament represents a great promotion to the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Sharjah to show the civilizational and tourism as the tournament is transferred in all languages ​​to the world.

Issa Hilal noted that the participation of our children in the championship is one of the main goals of holding the event for friction with different chess schools and gaining experience, which ultimately in the interest of our national teams, especially since the tournament always opens its doors for the participation of players from all clubs.
