The fourth session of the platform “Make in the Emirates” and the accompanying exhibition is the most prominent and most compared to previous sessions, as it was held on up to 68 thousand square meters of the areas designated for exhibitions, and the number of attendance exceeded 122 thousand visitors and a participant representing more than 20 times the number of visitors to the third session.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology said that: “Thanks to the vision and directives of the rational leadership, the industrial sector in the UAE is witnessing a real renaissance that achieves a extended impact that includes all sectors, the most important of which is trade and economy, and the fourth session of (Make in the Emirates) has achieved unprecedented achievements, thanks to the support and precious care of His Highness the elders who visited the platform and inspected The exhibition wings, and directed the continuation of the development of the industrial sector, which is one of the sectors that contribute to economic diversification and achieve the state’s targets in sustainable economic development.
His Excellency added: “The world began to witness a new industrial era, led by ideas, speeded up by technology, and determines its features of flexibility and ability to respond quickly to the various variables, and the industry has contributed to creating an additional economic value, improved productivity, provides job opportunities, creates advanced and flexible infrastructure, adopts a production base to increase exports, enhance the gross local product The countries that possess a strong industrial base, enjoy sustainable economic growth, ensure a prosperous and bright future, contribute to the progress and development of societies, and investment in manufacturing is an investment in the advanced economy, and every investment in the industrial sector, achieves a double return, by stimulating the growth of the relevant sectors, so the “manufacturer in the Emirates” platform represents the gate towards enhancing the capabilities of our industrial sector, and we are continuing to develop This platform, expanding the scope of its impact, increasing its contribution to attracting major industrial companies, localizing strategic products, and building a competitive cognitive industrial base, to establish the UAE’s position as a global partner in the future industry.
