20 Emirati leaders join the first batch of the Dubai Financial Experts Program

The Dubai International Financial Center and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership, announced that 20 Emirati leaders joined the first batch of the Dubai Financial Experts Program, as they started a six -month training program.

The program aims to develop the next generation of Emirati leaders who lead the leadership of innovation in financial institutions at the level of Dubai, the Emirates and the world, in addition to consolidating the position of Dubai as a global financial center, and it is designed to enhance knowledge and capabilities among Emirati in the financial services sector, through a distinguished educational experience that combines global executive education, and to provide access to senior innovators and executives from the level of senior management, the development of the entrepreneurial mentality and development Leadership skills.

The program targets the citizens of the UAE who ranged between 25 and 35 years old, who have a professional experience between five and 10 years, including work in the financial sector, and the employees of the program were chosen based on a comprehensive evaluation of their leadership and financial competencies, based on a strong educational basis, as well as having team leadership skills or strategic projects management, and motivation to achieve success.

The first batch of the program represents 16 governmental and private entities, including: the Community Development Authority in Dubai, the Finance Department in the Government of Dubai, Dubai Ports Group, Dubai Economic Security Center, Dubai Chamber, Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones, Dubai Police, Emirates Airlines, Securities and Commodities Authority, Emirates NBD, Commercial International Bank, Dubai Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi First Bank, Mashreq Bank, Ras Al Khaimah National Bank, MasterCard.

The Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center, Issa Kazim, said that the Dubai Financial Experts Program will contribute to supporting the center’s efforts to enhance the development of the financial sector and lead the transformational initiatives that would contribute to achieving the targets of the Dubai Economic Agenda «D33).

For his part, the Director General of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Saeed Al -Atour, said that the program translates the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, in rehabilitating national competencies according to the latest international standards to lead the innovation march in the financial sector, and consolidate the position of Dubai as the capital of money, business and financial services.

The leaders of the first batch of the program are scheduled to distribute in June 2025, to a group of major financial institutions and leading innovation companies within the Dubai International Financial Center, to go through a practical training experience.
