The most committed citizens to traffic regulations and not to commit violations

The Director of the Police Follow -up Department and the subsequent care of the Abu Dhabi Police, Brigadier General Ahmed Jumaa Al -Khaili, stressed that the category of senior citizens is the most committed to traffic regulations out of their keenness not to commit traffic violations according to traffic statistics.
Al -Khaili pointed to the role of effective senior citizens and their cooperation with the concerned authorities in spreading traffic culture in the vicinity of the family and society.
The Police Follow -up Department and subsequent care in the Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with the Family Development Foundation in the Al Ain region, implemented an initiative to educate senior citizens to explain the concept of traffic points in order to embody the goals of the General Society 2025 and ensure interest in directing more services to senior citizens who played a fundamental role in the emirate’s renaissance and in appreciation of their pioneering efforts towards the country.
The Director of the Police Follow -up Department and the subsequent care, Brigadier General Ahmed Jumaa Al -Khaili, stressed that the initiative included a workshop in appreciation of the great position that senior citizens in society and the aim of enhancing their awareness of the traffic points program in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (178) of 2017 regarding the rules and procedures of traffic control.
For his part, the head of the police follow -up and subsequent care department, Lieutenant -Colonel Dr. Fayez Al -Subaie, reviewed the most prominent laws included in the laws and procedures followed regarding traffic points programs and how to benefit from the services provided to drivers, pointing to traffic points programs (qualifying for drivers).
Two programs include the first through which 8 traffic points are reduced in the event of less than 24 traffic accumulated points on the driver’s license, and the second is a specialist in retrieving the driver’s license in the event that the driver exceeds 24 traffic points by attaching an intensive awareness and educational workshop on how to pay the fees prescribed at the service center.
The workshop provided an explanation of some concepts on the traffic points of the violations on how they calculated and the implications for them and the procedures followed in the event that the cumulative limit is reached by visiting the application (Tam), or reviewing the happiness centers of customers in the Traffic Directorate and Security Patrols and paying restrictions in the traffic and federal licensing program or communicating via the free number (80033333) to serve your help.
