Muhammad al -Sharqi meets the speaker of the Arab Parliament and praises the efforts of Parliament in supporting comprehensive Arab development
Cairo, May 23 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met His Excellency Muhammad Ahmad Al -Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, on the sidelines of his honor to “The Arab Sustainability Day Award 2025”, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, under the slogan “Enhancement of awareness of the importance of sustainability in the Arab region.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah stressed the necessity of joining efforts and coordinating joint work between Arab countries, in order to achieve comprehensive development and enhance their goals, and to open horizons for active partnerships in all fields.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Arab Parliament in supporting joint Arab action and its current and future issues, stressing the importance of the role that parliamentarians play in supporting the sustainable development process in the Arab world.
For his part, the President of the Arab Parliament presented the highest verses of congratulations and blessings on the occasion of his honor by the League of Arab States with the Arab Sustainability Day Award 2025, stressing that it is a deserving honor that reflects the quality and ambitious efforts of His Highness in supporting the process of sustainable development, and upgrading the status of the Emirate of Fujairah at all levels.
Al -Yamahi added that this honor is an Arab testimony to the role of His Highness the leadership and inspiring in empowering young people, enhancing innovation, and working to achieve the aspirations of future generations, in light of the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah and to consolidate the principles on which the United Arab Emirates is based, in leadership, work, and construction, in light of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God preserve him.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, His Excellency Hamdan Karam, Director of the Special Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Major General Tariq Naseer, Vice -President of the Arab Parliament, MP Alaa Abed, Major General Yusri Maghazi and MP Shadia Al -Jamal, members of the Arab Parliament and a number of leaders of his general secretariat.
