Fujairah Martial Arts Club harvested the Spia Middle East Award 2025 for the best sporting event for 2024
Fujairah on May 23 / WAM / In a new sports achievement that reflects the organizational and professional excellence of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, the club crowned the Sports Industry Award in the Middle East (Spia Awards 2025) for the category of the best sporting event for 2024, in appreciation of the remarkable success achieved by the eleventh edition of the Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship, which attracted more than 2000 athletes from different The countries of the world, and formed a prominent sports station at the regional and international levels.
This coronation is a translation of the insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and President of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, which leads the club towards leadership and enhances the Fujairah site as an international platform for organizing qualitative sporting events.
Abu Dhabi recently hosted the awards ceremony in the Arena Space Hall 42 – Abu Dhabi in the presence of a high presence of the leaders of the sports sector and decision makers in the Middle East and North Africa region, and representatives of the major media institutions where the award is supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, which reflects institutional integration in supporting and honoring the excellence in the sports industry in the region.
Important global events are competing for the award and also crowned in the same category the DP World Championship and the Formula 1 Etihad Award for Formula 1 and the American Basketball League (NBA) Abu Dhabi, which confirms the prestigious position occupied by the Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship among major major sports organizations in the region, and reflects the size of the international appreciation that the Fujairah Emirate has in the field of industry and organization Sports.
His Excellency Nader Abu Al -Bashwish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, confirmed that this coronation constitutes a pride station for the club and for every team on the championship, saying:

The Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship (G2), which is organized by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club 12 years ago, achieved a major achievement by obtaining a certificate of the “Guinness” World Records Encyclopedia, after the records of the number of participants in the international Taekwondo championship in the world, with the participation of 2332 players
The Sports Industry Awards were established in the Middle East (SPIA) in 2012, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, an official ceremony that honors leaders, decision makers, institutions, establishments and initiatives that contributed to the development of the sports sector in the region.
