"Fujairah Martial Arts": The Best Sports Industry Award motivated for more achievements
Fujairah on May 23/ WAM/ His Excellency Nader Abul -Shwish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, confirmed that the club’s victory in the Sports Industry Award in the Middle East (Spia Awards 2025) confirmed the category of “Best Sports Event for 2024”, culminating in the Fujairah International Open Tikando Championship, is a pride and pride station for the club and for all members of the work team who organized the tournament, which attracted more than 2000 athletes from around the world, and formed a prominent sporting event at the regional and international levels.
Abu al -Shawish explained that this achievement represents a great incentive to achieve more successes in the future, stressing that the UAE is always seeking leadership and always looking for the first position and the number is one in all fields.
The crowning of the Fujairah Club came during the official ceremony for the distribution of “Spia Awards” awards, which was held in the “Arena Space 42” hall in the capital, Abu Dhabi, in the presence of a group of senior officials in the sports sector and decision makers in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as representatives of the most prominent media institutions.
Abu al -Shawish said: “This achievement is given to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the leader of the vision and the first supporter of the sports movement in the emirate.
He pointed out that the Fujairah International Open Taekwondo Championship has become one of the most prominent international sporting events in Taekwondo, where a group of international champions gathered in high -level competitions, reflecting the spirit of challenge and insistence on reaching the summit, pointing to the remarkable presence of professional players and international referees, which makes the tournament a prominent station in the global combat sports agenda.
The Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship (G2), which is organized by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club 12 years ago, has achieved a great achievement by obtaining a certificate from the Guinness World Records Encyclopedia, after broke the records for the number of participants in the international Taekwondo championship worldwide, with the participation of 2332 players.
