Correct the winners of the rehabilitation of the Dalma Racing for Heritage Boards
Al -Dhafra on May 24 / WAM / The rehabilitation races were held in the “Dalma Race for Heritage Boards Category 40 feet” within the activities of the eighth historic Dalma Race Festival organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, from May 16 to June 1 on Dalma Island in the Al Dhafra region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The racing winners were crowned by His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of the Festival and Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
And races took place in four runs called the names of Hirat Dalma, “The case of Dalma, Umm Al -Anbar, Hadd Boufir, limit of Bagvir” and carrying each run by one of the colors of the state flag, red, green, white and black, for a distance of 4 naval miles with the participation of 663 sailors on 39 boats from which the boats that occur on the first three places in each half, to the closing run bearing the name “Huma Dalma “and his competitions will take place this evening, Saturday.
The total financial awards for the race are more than two million and 400 thousand dirhams.
