The UAE team in the 3 Group in the World Cup "Qatar 2025"

Doha, May 25/WAM/The draw for the U -17 Football World Cup, which Qatar hosted from 3 to 27 November 2025 resulted in the UAE national team in the third group alongside the teams of Senegal, Croatia and Costa Rica.
The lottery ceremony was held this evening in the Qatari capital, Doha, with record participation of 48 teams, in the first version of the expanded system, and this version is a start for a series of 5 consecutive copies hosted by Qatar until 2029.
The tournament is witnessing the participation of 6 Arab teams, namely the Emirates, Qatar (host), Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
The 48 teams were distributed to 12 groups, each with four teams classified according to the levels approved by the International Football Association (FIFA).
104 games are scheduled to be held within 25 days of competitions, in one of the largest tournaments in the world.
Below are the distribution of teams to the 12 groups:
The first group: Qatar, Italy, South Africa and Bolivia
Group Two: Japan, Morocco, New Calledonia, and Portugal
The third group: Emirates, Senegal, Croatia and Costa Rica.
The fourth group: Argentina, Belgium, Tunisia, and Figi
Group Five: England, Venezuela, Haiti and Egypt
Group Six: Mexico, South Korea, Cote d’Ivoire and Switzerland
Group Seven: Germany, Colombia, North Korea and El Salvador
Group Eight: Brazil, Honduras, Indonesia and Zambia
The ninth group: the United States, Burkina Faso, Tajikistan, and Czech
The tenth group: Paraguay, Uzbekistan, Panama, and Ireland
Group Eleven: France, Chile, Canada and Uganda
The twelfth group: Mali, New Zealand, Austria, and Saudi Arabia.
