His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him” and Santiago Benia, President of the Paraguay Republic of Paraguay, discussed today … different aspects of cooperation and joint work, especially in the developmental, economic and commercial fields, renewable energy, food security, climate work and other vital areas that support the achievement of the visions of the two countries and their aspirations towards sustainable development and prosperity.

This came during the reception of His Highness at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, President of the Paraguay and the accompanying delegation, who is on an official visit to the state.

The two sides also reviewed a number of issues in common concern and exchanged views on them … stressing in this context their keenness to push the relations of the two countries forward and investing various opportunities to open new horizons for their cooperation in a way that serves their common interests.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the UAE’s keenness to continue to diversify the base of its economic and development partnerships, as well as enhancing bridges of communication and constructive cooperation with Latin American countries, led by the Paraguay, based on its approach based on common interests and cooperation in order to achieve development and prosperity for all the peoples of the world.

His Highness and the President of the Paraguay also touched on regional and international developments, foremost of which are developments in the Middle East region … in this context, the need to intensify work for peace and stability in the region and the world.

For his part, Santiago Benia expressed his thanks to His Highness the President of the State for the hospitality that he received during the visit, expressing his admiration for the comprehensive civilizational renaissance witnessed by the state and the vision of its wise leadership in paying its progress.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Development Affairs, Families of the Martyrs, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State and Ali bin Hammad Al -Shamsi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council of National Security, Reem Bint Ibrahim Al -Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Abdullah bin Al -Adl and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al -Mazrouei, Head of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs, head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, Wafis Abdul Aziz Al -Bannai, Advisor to the President of the State for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology, the Small Doctor and Bran Al -Ahbabi, the state ambassador to Paraguay and a number of senior officials alongside the delegation accompanying the guest president.
