Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed honors the winners of the Arab Youth Information Award, “Creativity”

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, yesterday, the work of the “Arab Media Summit”, organized by the Dubai Press Club with the participation of the largest since its inception, was launched with an intensive agenda that includes more than 175 sessions, 35 workshops, and more than 300 speakers, led by a group of political and intellectual stature and media leaders in the Arab world Arab and international media, within the largest media gathering in the region.

Within the activities of the first day of the “Arab Media Summit 2025”, the Dubai Press Club organized, yesterday, a ceremony honoring the winners of the Arab Youth Media Award (Creativity) 2025 in its ninth session, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy governor of Dubai, and the head of the Dubai Media Council.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the winners within the various categories of the award, and His Highness congratulated the winners, expressing his appreciation for their creativity that deserved to reach the honoring platform.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the presence of the Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, President of the Dubai Press Club, Mona Ghanem Al -Murri, and a group of senior media leaders, newspaper editors and representatives of the Emirati and Arab academic institutions, delivered the photography category of Ahmed Samir Badwan from Al Ain University, while the honor included the student Abdullah Khaled Ali from the Supreme Technology Colleges Dubai, and the winner of the multimedia prize.

He also honored His Highness the student Judy Mohamed Zaki from the American University in Cairo for winning the short video category award, and the student Amna Saleh Al -Tunaiji of the Supreme Technology Faculties in Ras Al Khaimah for winning the Electronic Games Award, and His Highness also handed the award to the Jordanian Yarmouk University team for winning the category of press reports, and the honor also included the King Abdulaziz University team, the award winner of the award for the podcast category.

At the end of the ceremony, the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was taken to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, memorial photos with the winners and honors, within the ninth session of the Media Award for Arab Youth.

On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed that the UAE and Dubai will remain in its era in celebrating creativity in all its forms and forms, while the media sector is one of the most important sectors in which creativity plays a pivotal role, and His Highness said: “Honoring creative Arab youth in the field of media is a celebration of a new spirit that progresses with confidence towards making a more conscious Arab future .. It confirms that our Arab youth possess the capabilities and ambition that qualifies it to be a partner in making a new Arab media scene .. We bet on this generation to redefine the Arab media discourse, which reflects our values, preserves our identity, and expresses the aspirations of our peoples in leadership and innovation ».

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured at the headquarters of the “Arab Media Summit”, where he listened to an explanation from Mona Ghanem Al -Marri about the main components of the summit headquarters, whose design was taken into account to constitute an additional space for communication and dialogue between the attendees from Arab and international media leaders, outside the sessions halls.

His Highness reviewed the various platforms included in the summit headquarters in the halls of the Dubai World Trade Center, which included the platforms of the Dubai Media Council, the Dubai Media Corporation and the Dubai Press Club, the IMI Media Group, and the United Arab Emirates University, where these platforms host a series of sessions, Master Class and training workshops, which contributes to enhancing the desired benefit from the summit.

For its part, Mona Ghanem Al -Murri confirmed that the Media Award for Arab Youth “Creativity” represents a practical embodiment of the vision of the wise leadership in empowering Arab youth and preparing them to be makers for the future of Arab media more advanced and influential.

She added: “We are keen to continue this approach through the platform (Creativity), which has become a real window for Arab media talents to present their ideas and creativity to the world.

She pointed out that honoring the winners of the ninth session of the award, within the activities of the first day of the Arab Media Summit 2025, is an important station in the process of supporting the emerging media energies, and reflects Dubai’s constant commitment to stimulating creativity and innovation in various fields of media.

The award comes this year, including six categories: podcasts, electronic games, and multimedia, in addition to photography categories, short video, and press reports, and the value of each of the categories included in the “Creativity 2025” award reaches 5,000 dollars.

A jury consisting of experts and specialists in the field of media work, evaluating the business and projects submitted to the award, where the Dubai Press Club has developed the award agency of the award a set of controls for accepting and evaluating business in order to ensure the integrity and fairness of the selection and arbitration process, and ensure balanced opportunities for all applicants.

The ninth session of the award was launched in its new solution to be an extension of the “Creativity” award for media students, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, in 2001, as a platform aimed at discovering distinguished competencies between the media in various Arab countries, and giving Arab media institutions the opportunity to benefit from these competencies and involve them in various media sectors. The number of participants in the Creativity Award reached 2736 posts from various Arab countries.

The Acting Director of the Dubai Press Club, Maryam Al -Mulla, had delivered a speech in which she welcomed the attendance from within the country and various parts of the Arab world, and she said: “We are pleased that the meeting is renewed in a city that cut itself a covenant to be an active partner in shaping the features of a future made by young people who are passionate about excellence that tomorrow is better, so Dubai is the city of creativity, and turning the dream into success.”

She added: “In every renaissance that humanity knew, there was a young generation that carried the dream, believed in it, and rushed to achieve it with optimism and passion, and today our confidence is established that the future of the media is written by the thought of youth, and its infinite ambition. Our goal is a media formulated in a new language, which is a firm affiliation with our culture, values ​​and traditions … and its tools are technology that draws new features for the world around us.

Al -Mulla emphasized that the goal of the discussions of the “Arab Media Forum for Youth” is to support tomorrow’s media makers to be creative and create and start with their ideas, and to make their creations window on tomorrow, its prosperity, expressing its hope that the forum will be a starting point for each promising idea, and an ambitious media project.
