Suhail Al Mazroue

Abu Dhabi, May 27/ WAM/ His Excellency Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, confirmed that the vision of the rational leadership was the main pillar to achieve a qualitative transformation in the energy and utilities sector in the UAE.
His Excellency said in his opening speech during the activities of the “World Facilities Conference 2025”, whose work was launched today in Abu Dhabi, that the UAE, thanks to the directives of its rational leadership and its pre -emptive strategies, has become a global model in energy production efficiency, the sustainability of facilities, and long -term planning.
His Excellency added: “Today we are facing real achievements made thanks to the vision of our leadership, which started early in thinking about the future, when Abu Dhabi decided to take bold steps towards privatization, investment in renewable and nuclear energy, and achieve a balance between consumption and efficiency. This forward -looking vision made Abu Dhabi one of the lowest cities of the world in the production of electricity, and one of the most advanced in adopting sustainable solutions.”
His Excellency stressed the importance of keeping pace with the organizational policies of the accelerated development in the energy sector, especially in light of the increasing global demand for electricity as a result of the expansion of databases and digital services, stressing that the challenge is no longer only in production, but also in raising the efficiency of consumption and adopting modern technologies.
His Excellency said: “We need flexible organizations that keep pace with the acceleration of innovation in the energy sector, whether in the field of batteries or smart networks,” noting that the role of governments must change from the provider to the possible, by enabling the private sector, and taking advantage of artificial intelligence tools to raise efficiency and reduce costs.
His Excellency stressed that the UAE does not focus only on the national affairs, but rather seeks to share its experiences with brotherly and friendly countries, through its leading national companies such as “Masdar” and “Energy”, stressing that achieving a sustainable transformation requires an international partnership and a continuous modernization of policies.
