The President of the State affirms the UAE’s steadfast position towards the unity, sovereignty of Lebanon and the integrity of its lands

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and Dr. Nawaf Salam, head of the Prime Minister in the Lebanese Republic, discussed today … brotherly relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint work and the possibilities of strengthening them in the interest of the two countries in a way that achieves the aspirations of their two brotherly peoples towards development and prosperity.

This came during the reception of His Highness – at the Al -Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi – the Lebanese Prime Minister who is on a work visit to the UAE, during which he participates in the work of the “Arab Media Summit 2025” held in Dubai.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues and files of common concern, stressing the importance of working to enhance the causes of stability, security and peace in the region for the benefit of all their peoples and the development of their countries.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the UAE’s steadfast position towards the unity, sovereignty of Lebanon, and the integrity of its lands and its support for everything that achieves stability, development and prosperity for its brotherly people.

For his part, the Lebanese Prime Minister expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his appreciation for his position in support of the Lebanese people, stressing the keenness to strengthen Lebanon’s relations with the UAE in various fields for the good of their people.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Special Affairs, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Lana Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Mona Al -Marri, Vice President, Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and a number of officials.
