Spain ends the state of emergency as forest fire preparedness continues


Declare , Pedro Sanchez, today ended the state of national emergency that was imposed due to in the capital Forest fires in Spain

He added that the authorities have moved to the second operational level, ending the national emergency, while maintaining a state of alert in light of the continuing heat wave and the high risk of new fires.

The Spanish Prime Minister stressed that the next 12 hours will be crucial to strengthen the efforts implemented by the National Civil Protection System.

He warned that the new heat wave and wind fluctuations may lead to worsening conditions in the affected areas.
