"Distribution platform" It opens up broad horizons for the Emirati publisher in the Asian market

Kuala Lumpuri, May 27 / WAM / The “platform for distribution” company participates in the activities of the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2025 organized by the Malaysian Ministry of Education in cooperation with the National Book Council in Malaysia and a number of local associations specialized in the publishing industry and is one of the most prominent cultural exhibitions in Southeast Asia as it attracts more than 1.5 million visitors annually.
The participation of the “Platform for Distribution” in this prominent cultural event, which continues until the first of next June as part of its efforts to enhance the presence of Emirati and international literature through a distinguished pavilion that carried 5667 books from the latest versions of 86 Emirati publishing houses that are available to visitors to the Malaysian and international exhibition. Through this participation, a “platform for distribution” aims to expand the scope of the regional and international distribution of Emirati books and build bridges of cooperation with publishers and distributors from different countries of the world, especially through the Asian -Asian Publishing Rights Exhibition, which lasts for three days and is an important platform for exchange of publishing and distribution rights and concluding international partnerships in this field.
Rashid Al -Kous, general manager of a platform for distribution company, said that this participation comes within the framework of the “platform” strategy aimed at supporting the publishing movement in the UAE and opening spacious horizons for local content through the active presence in the major international exhibitions, which contributes to enhancing the UAE’s position on the regional and global publishing map and supporting creative industries in the country.
He added that our participation in the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair falls within the framework of our continuous efforts to expand the scope of the distribution of Emirati content and make it available in promising markets, as we are committed to building a flexible distribution network that allows Emirati books to reach readers around the world, especially in the Southeast Asian region, which is witnessing remarkable growth in demand for translated Arabic content.
It is noteworthy that the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair has been organized since 1981 and is considered one of the expected annual events for publishers and readers alike, as it is a rich cultural forum that brings together publishing houses, authors and the public under one roof at the World Trade Center in the Malaysian capital.
