Dominic Answorth, CEO of the British company “Resources Production”, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that her experience in building an integrated cinematic production system in the United Kingdom has proven the effectiveness of multilateral cooperation in creating a local production environment and attractive to global business.

Answorth is one of the most prominent social producers in Britain, and its company was founded in 1999 with the aim of creating a social impact through filmmaking and creative training programs.

She explained: “We discussed at the summit how partnerships can support the major productive works coming to the region, and at the same time allow local stories makers to deliver their voices and their experiences to the public,” noting that the similarities between the experiences of the United Kingdom and the Arab region reflect real opportunities for integration.

She emphasized that joint work with film committees, media bodies, and government agencies helped to enhance societal awareness and support education, and ensure a real representation of local communities on the screen.

For its part, American producer Carla de Bello, the “Arabia Plus” platform, expressed her happiness to participate in the summit, noting that her stay in the Middle East region for more than 12 years has resulted in projects that embody realistic stories directed at a global audience, especially in English.

She added: “Our message through the production and consulting company is to build a bridge between East and West, and to transfer a real and varied image of the region to the world.”
