Heritage competitions are an important tributary of the cultural scene in the Emirates

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received the winners of the “Prince of Poets” and “Poet of the Million” in the 11th season, and the “Mankos Program” in the fourth season, in addition to the arbitration committees of these competitions.

His Highness with the delegation, during the meeting that took place in the Palace of the Sea, exchanged conversations about the importance of such competitions in introducing generations to the rich folklore and cultural heritage, as well as strengthening its role in consolidating the national identity and authentic Emirati values.

His Highness congratulated the winners of heritage and cultural competitions, stressing that it is considered an important tributary of the cultural scene in the UAE and the Arab region, and contributes to highlighting talents, and creating an important interactive platform between poets and the public, as well as encouraging critical studies and research contributions interested in these literary types.
