"Facilities Conference" .. "Energy for distribution" National competencies enable an initiative "release"

Abu Dhabi, May 29 / WAM / TATAD distributed, during its participation in the activities of the World Facilities Conference 2025, its firm commitment to the development and development of Emirati competencies, by reviewing one of its most prominent development initiatives under the title “Launch”, which aims to qualify a new generation of graduates, technicians and Emirati students, and preparing them with the skills and experiences that enable them to lead and excellence in the energy sector And facilities.
Haitham Hassan Al -Subaihi, Executive Vice President of Employees and Institutional Culture at TATAD, said that the “launch” program represents a strategic axis in the company’s efforts to enable young national energies of both sexes, through an integrated system of professional and leadership training and development, which promises them to take vital roles in a sector that witnesses acceleration and fundamental shifts at the local and global levels.
He added in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that the program started in 2020 under the name “launch of the graduates”, and was able, during four consecutive batches, to graduate more than 250 young men and women, pointing out that each batch of graduates embodied an integrated success story, given the program’s focus on enhancing personal capabilities and refining leadership skills, along with specialized training content.
He pointed out that the year 2024 witnessed the launch of the technical version of the program under the name “launch of technicians”, which was devoted to the campaign of technical diploma, and focused on intensive practical training, in a way that keeps pace with the nature of field work in the fields of transportation and distribution within the energy sector, and this trend reflects the company’s keenness to diversify the empowerment paths according to the market needs, and provide qualitative opportunities for professional and technical groups.
He stressed that the program is based on firm strategic partnerships with prominent educational and professional institutions, such as the upper technology colleges and the Abu Dhabi Institute for Vocational Education and Training, which contributed to expanding the base of the beneficiaries of technical graduates, and enabling them to enter the labor market effectively and readily.
He pointed out that this year witnessed a qualitative expansion in the “launch” program by launching two new initiatives, represented in the summer training program and the alternative national service program, explaining that these two initiatives aim to provide university students and recruits with real practical opportunities in early stages of their march, in order to enhance their readiness and support their future integration in the energy sector.
He pointed out that the company puts the final touches on a plan to expand the program to include the Al -Dhafra region more comprehensively, as part of the strategic “energy” directions aimed at achieving a balance in providing services along the regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which reflects its full commitment to the national priorities for balanced and sustainable development.
Al -Subaihi stressed that the “launch” program represents a real embodiment of the company’s commitment and higher management to support and empower national competencies, and to provide a stimulating institutional environment that puts Emirati youth at the heart of the strategic transformation of the future of the energy and utilities sector in the country.
