"Ice hockey" He intensifies his preparations to meet his Iranian counterpart in "Asian women"
Abu Dhabi, May 29/ WAM/ The Emirates Winter Sports Federation announced the arrival of the teams tomorrow, to participate in the Asian Cup of Ice Hockey for Women 2025, scheduled for the Hili Ski Hall in Al Ain, during the period from May 31 to June 6.
Six teams are participating in the championship organized by the Federation, under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, which are the UAE, India, Malaysia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines, where our team opens its career in the championship next Saturday by facing its Iranian counterpart.
Our national team concluded its internal camp in Al Ain, with extensive preparations that qualify it to compete for positive results, with the participation of 20 players.
The organizing committee decided to conduct the participating teams training tomorrow, and all other arrangements have been completed to receive the teams, equip the meeting rooms, and the skiing hall, in addition to conducting the rehearsal of the opening ceremony tomorrow.
Juma Al Dhaheri, Secretary -General of the Emirates Winter Sports Federation, stressed that the federation has completed its preparations to host the tournament, at a new station to confirm the great growth witnessed by the state in ice sports, and its reaching the level of global competitiveness.
