Sharjah honors 4 Jordanian writers in Amman

Amman, May 29 / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Jordanian capital, Amman, witnessed the launch of the twenty -second edition of the Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring, which celebrated “4” Jordanian writers: the translator Dr. Muhammad Al -Bakhit, and the critic d. Nabil Haddad, critic and academic Mahmoud Al -Shalabi, and the poet Mohamed Samhan.
The forum comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to honor literary stature that contributed to the service of contemporary Arab culture and the forum will be replaced for the fifth time in Jordan after 16 Jordanian creators honored during the previous sessions of it.
The ceremony was held in the Department of the National Library in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al -Owais, head of the Culture Department in Sharjah, and Muhammad Ibrahim Al -Qusayr, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs in the department, and Dr. Nidal Al -Ayasrah, Secretary -General of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture, and Arabism of Shamayilah, Director General of the Jordanian National Library, along with a large number of Jordanian and intellectuals, Arabs and Arabs and those interested in cultural affairs.
Al -Owais pointed out that the renewal of brotherly meetings renews joy and happiness and enhances the continuity of love when its elements, which are crowned by Arab communication and joint cooperation, and this is what is embodied by the depth of historical relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in light of a leadership that believes in the importance of continuing Arab communication in all fields.
And he added: Today we are a model of these principles through the Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring, which aims to honor the cultural figures that influence the contemporary Arab arena with creativity in the field of literature with its various fields and after the forum moved between the countries of the Arab world returning for the fifth time to honor a new constellation of Jordan writers who have been saved to their creativity and elaborated their beautiful giving and their diverse literary production.
Al -Owais expressed his thanks to the Jordanian Ministry of Culture for its permanent cooperation, which resulted in the organization of many various cultural activities.
For his part, Al -Ayyasa praised the best greetings that Sharjah broadcasts through this cultural fabric, stressing that thought and history make the darkness of the paths and the opening of the book of Arab Islamic civilization widely for reflection, reading and starting towards the horizons of leadership and giving.
He praised the importance of the moral value at the Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring and the Great Incentive Created by this Honor, which reached its fifth session Jordan and the twenty -second Arabs, which is a journey that deserves respect, and confirms the role of Sharjah in the manufacture of cultural and creative action.
Dr. Muhammad Al -Bakhit appreciated the honoring of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for the Jordanian intellectuals who contributed to the service of Arab culture in the modern era and its launch of creative initiatives capable of changing reality and overcoming the challenges so that the intellectual in his community plays an active role able to enrich the civilizational reality.
The honoring ceremony was accompanied by an exhibition that included a number of publications of the Department of Culture in Sharjah – Sharjah Cultural Magazine, Al -Rafid Magazine, Al -Qawafi magazine, the theater magazine, the Al -Hirah magazine from Sharjah and a number of multiple literature in literary fields, and the exhibition witnessed the presence of the audience to acquire these various publications.
The paragraphs of the ceremony managed the Jordanian poet Iman Abdel -Hadi, and at the beginning of her speech, she indicated the leadership role that Sharjah plays in strengthening the Arab cultural scene.
