The UAE participates in the work of the Astana International Forum 2025

Astana, May 30 / WAM / His Excellency Suhail bin Muhammad Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, headed by His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the country’s delegation participating in the work of the Astana International Forum 2025, is held this year under the slogan “Connecting minds and forming the future”, in the capital Astana, with the participation of a number of leaders of countries, senior officials, representatives of governments and decision makers from all over the world.

The forum is a high -level international platform that brings together leaders of thought, politics and economics to discuss the most prominent global issues, including sustainable development, energy security, climate change, and promotion of international cooperation.

In his opening speech, His Excellency His Excellency stressed the necessity of adopting unified responses based on common values, and in light of the escalation of conflicts and economic challenges, and stressed the importance of dialogue, reform and the involvement of young people in building a stable and prosperous future.

He said that our goal is clear: building a more diverse, comprehensive and ready economy for the future – an economy in which growth is not limited to sustainability, but everyone shares.

He added, “The slogan of this year continues minds, and drawing the features of the future is an invitation and conviction at the same time, as it reflects our belief that global challenges cannot be resolved in isolation from each other, and that diplomacy must develop to transcend official protocols into deeper and more human forms of communication.

A number of international leaders also delivered speeches during the opening session, among them His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, His Excellency Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, President of the Northern Republic of Macedonia, His Excellency Ko Dong U, Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), His Excellency Alan Perse, Secretary-General of the European Council, His Excellency Ban Ki-moon, President of the Global Institute And the former Secretary -General of the United Nations.

On the sidelines of the forum, His Excellency Kassem Gomart Tukayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, received His Excellency Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Republic of Kazakhstan and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Saeed Al -Airi, the country’s ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Court, and their wishes for the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its friend, the friend The strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields of common concern.

His Excellency the President praised the level of economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, pointing to the recent visit of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to Astana, which resulted in the signing of many agreements and memoranda of understanding between government and private agencies to confirm the size of the strategic relationship and partnership between the two countries in various fields.

His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei met on the sidelines of the Astana International Forum in Yerlan Akinsinov, the Kazakhi Energy Minister, where the developments of joint projects between the two countries were discussed and discussed new opportunities available for investment.

During the delegation’s visit, the Astana Financial Center, His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei presided over the round table with his counterpart, His Excellency Rinat Becturov, Governor of the Astana International Financial Center and the Special Envoy of the Kazakhi President to follow up projects in the UAE and in the presence of a number of government and private companies and companies in the two countries.

The two parties stressed the necessity of following up the implementation of the agreed projects and opening new horizons for cooperation between medium and small companies in the two countries.
