Luxurious Italian creations caught attention at the Middle East Watch and Jewelery Fair

Sharjah, May 31 / WAM / The Italian Pavilion participating in the activities of the 55th edition of the Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition, organized by the Sharjah Expo Center with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, revealed a rare set of handcrafted diamonds and jewelry that is designed by a group of the most famous Italian designers specifically for the first time in Sharjah.
These unique designs included luxurious jewelry inlaid with rare gemstones such as pure diamonds, sapphire and emerald, along with art pieces of 18 karat gold and high -quality natural diamonds, often with limited versions of not exceeding two pieces for each design.
The Italian pavilion this year witnessed a record participation of about 50 brands, an increase of 15% over the past session, which made Italy the largest international presence in the exhibition.
This remarkable participation, which spanned an area of more than 700 square meters with a growth of 15%, comes at a time when Italy has strengthened its position as the third largest source of jewelry globally and the largest European exporter to the UAE, where the value of its exports to the country exceeded 1.22 billion euros in 2024, and recorded in February 2025 alone exports of 238 million euros, an increase of 24% compared to the same period from 2024.
His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Sharjah Expo Center, accompanied by a number of members and officials of the Chamber, the Italian pavilion, praised the depth of economic and commercial relations that link the UAE to the Italian Republic.
Al -Owais pointed out that the growing participation of Italian companies at the Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition comes in light of the pioneering position of the exhibition as one of the most important events specialized in the gold and jewelry sector at the region level and as a result of the successes achieved by Italian exhibitors during their participation, the most prominent of which is to enhance their percentage of sales, especially since the Italian gold and jewelry products are characterized by their high quality and is an option for many consumers at the state level And the region, stressing that the Sharjah Chamber is keen annually and through the “Emirates Graphics” platform to organize visits to the most important gold and jewelry exhibitions in Italy, which contributed to strengthening partnerships and cooperation and forming a platform for exchanging experiences and experiences in this important sector.
For their part, those in charge of the Italian pavilion explained that the distinguished participation reflects the increasing confidence in the importance of the exhibition and the position of the Emirati market as a strategic destination, while the exhibitors emphasized that all the pieces were designed and made specifically for this session, and that they are keen to provide exclusive creations that combine the legacy of ancient Italian drafting with contemporary design innovations, executed by manually inherited literal techniques, to meet aspirations Thin taste for clients looking for uniqueness and sophistication.
