Creative Media Authority and"Jet movie" They support creative industries and production in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, June 4 / WAM / The Creative Media Authority signed a cooperation agreement with the Emirati production company “Jet Film”, with the aim of strengthening productive works and continuing to push the growth of creative industries in the emirate.

The cooperation continues, according to the agreement, for the next five years, during which the “Gate Film” works to produce at least 15 works in Abu Dhabi, provided that 50% of the team of these productions are competencies and talents recorded under the umbrella of the commission.

The “Gate Film” company contributes to the development of the cognitive stock in the Abu Dhabi Creative System, by hosting annual educational workshops, to discuss specialized topics in the production sector, in addition to providing four internal training programs annually for young Emirati talents, each of which is six months, within the framework of the authority’s keenness to provide a qualified incubator environment to enable the new generation of local talents and develop its skills.

Mohamed Dabaa, the Acting Director General of the Creative Information Authority, said that the authority is keen to strengthen strategic partnerships with the pioneers of creative industries locally and regionally, which is a basic pillar in its strategy aimed at sustaining development and consolidating the position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a vital center and a leading global destination for creative and global industries, pointing out that the authority is keen to attract productions from the productions Hollywood and Bollywood, to support Arab productive content in the emirate, which contributes to providing a system of creativity in which Emirati and Arab content flourishes.

He added that these partnerships contribute to providing many advantages and opportunities for talents from all levels, within the creativity system in the emirate, starting with providing job opportunities for more than 1,000 competencies and independent talents and recorded under the umbrella of the authority, as well as training and development opportunities for young creative talents.

The Gate Film Company will be able to take advantage of the advantages provided by the enhanced incentive program, announced by the Abu Dhabi Film Committee of the Creative Media Authority, which includes a cash recovery discount for qualified productions, starting from 35% to 50%, after meeting a set of criteria.

Mansour Al -Yabhouni Al -Dhahiri, Emirati director and founder of “Film Jet” company, expressed his confidence that the enhanced incentive program that was launched at the beginning of this year will work to enhance the presence of local, regional and international production companies, adding that the partnership with the authority allows the “Gate movie” to take advantage of the facilities and advantages, including the extensive photography sites and infrastructure sites and infrastructure The developed, as well as the monetary recovery, is part of the development and growth process witnessed by the creative system in the emirate.

Al -Dhahiri produced many creative works that were presented in international festivals, including the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, the Dubai Film Festival, the Gulf Film Festival, and many of his projects were nominated and won a number of them, including the autistic house (2013), Sarb.net (2012), small Sparta (2016), Swimming 61 (2023) The latest, the documentary “Abu Dhabi is a success story” (2024), and the TV series Ahlam drawn by dust (2022), and others.

The strategic partnership with the “Gate Film” company joins a series of agreements implemented by the Creative Media Authority, with the aim of continuing to support and develop creative industries in Abu Dhabi, which is one of the most important elements of its success.
