"Sharjah Asset Management" Explore the opportunities for cooperation and investment in China

Sharjah, May 4/ WAM/ Sharjah Asset Management Company explored the investment arm of the Sharjah Government, during a visit to the People’s Republic of China, opportunities and areas of joint cooperation in the new promising sectors, which contributes to advancing the sustainable development in the Emirate of Sharjah.
During the visit, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the company “CICC” in the presence of Sheikh Saud bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Vice President of the company, Omar Al Mulla, CEO of Investment, Saeed Sharar, CEO of Operations, and a group of CEOs and managers in Sharjah Asset Management.
Sheikh Saud bin Muhammad Al Qasimi said that this memorandum represents a new starting point to achieve fruitful cooperation with the company “CICC”. This cooperation would open new horizons for research, investment, innovation, and exchange of experiences and knowledge between the two parties and pave the way for qualitative achievements with important sectors, including finance, technology and sustainable development, and in a way that contributes to advancing the long -term development.
A spokesman for CICC confirmed that the partnership with Sharjah Asset Management Company contributes to exploring new opportunities, especially in the fields of research and development.
The Memorandum of Understanding states that the two parties are committed to cooperation in innovative research projects that contribute to providing practical and sustainable solutions that serve the Emirati and Chinese economies and enhance the opportunities for growth and development in vital sectors such as technology, financial services, environmental sustainability, sustainable investment strategies and the creation of a solid framework for joint research projects that contribute to creating innovative solutions to achieve sustainable growth.
It is expected that the memorandum of understanding will be resulted from a series of joint initiatives that include organizing specialized workshops and seminars in addition to implementing applied research projects that serve the strategic priorities of both sides, with a focus on sustainable investment practices and innovative solutions that will achieve long -term economic benefits.
The Sharjah Asset Management delegation visited 23 Chinese companies in various vital sectors to explore investment and joint cooperation opportunities, including Opera House and Beijing Stadium, accompanied by Daving Industrial Group, and learned about the latest technology of the leading company “Seyond” in LLDAR technologies and the most important promising investment opportunities in this advanced technology and its applications in the automotive and transportation sector.
During the visit of “Pony.ai” and “Huamo.ai”, the delegation defines cooperation opportunities in the areas of artificial intelligence, self -movement, robotics. World, which runs more than 11,000 hotels in 19 different countries to see hotel operations and discuss expansion and partnership opportunities in the Emirate of Sharjah.
