“Tender and Auctions” organizes a workshop on “Rights of Suppliers and Contractors”

In the context of its ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and fair competition, and to emphasize its pivotal role in organizing government purchases and sales, the Board of Tenders and Auctions, through visual communication technology, organizes a workshop entitled “Rights of suppliers and contractors”, next Wednesday, June 11.

The workshop aims to enhance the institutional awareness of suppliers and contractors about the legal and regulatory framework that governs government tenders and auctions, while highlighting their rights and mechanisms for guaranteeing justice and transparency in all stages of government tenders. It also aims to enable the participants to understand the approved procedures and standards, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of participation and improving the quality of the offers presented.

This workshop is part of a series of awareness workshops launched by the council, which is directed to suppliers and contractors, with the aim of enabling them to understand the various aspects related to all government tenders and auctions, in a way that enhances the quality of participation, and improves the quality of the offers presented.

On this occasion, Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al -Alawi, Secretary -General of the Tenders and Auctions Council stressed the importance of the participation of suppliers and contractors in this workshop as an opportunity to enhance awareness, interaction and offering inquiries, in a way that contributes to empowering the private sector and enhancing a transparent and fair business environment, adding that the council is keen to communicate directly with the partners in the private sector, and the workshop will address the most important aspects of interest to ensuring the smooth procedures of tenders And bids according to the highest standards.

His Excellency pointed out the importance of strengthening the active partnership with the private sector, noting that these workshops are one of the tools that contribute to building a common and sustainable understanding between the various parties, in a way that serves national goals, and enhances the efficiency of government spending and achieving the highest levels of transparency, integrity, competitiveness and equal opportunities in all stages of government purchases.

The Council invites all suppliers and contractors who wish to participate to register by filling out the registration form available on the official website of the Council (www.tenderboard.gov.bh).
