"Support".. a smart medical bag to support pilgrims with innovative solutions

Sharjah, June 5/ WAM/ The Sharjah Complex for Research, Technology and Innovation launched, in cooperation with a “Dmitori” health technology company, the smart medical bag “Musnad”, which was designed and manufactured inside the Sharjah Open Laboratory Facilities for Innovation “Sweileb”, as part of the initiatives aimed at providing innovative solutions to support pilgrims during the Hajj season for the year 1446 AH.
The “support” is an advanced mobile medical unit, equipped with rapid and effective diagnostic tools, which have been developed using modern techniques such as 3D printing, added manufacturing, and laser pieces, as well as designing electronic circuits, in an integrated environment that combines engineering and innovative experiences provided by the complex.
Hussein Al -Mahmoudi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex, stressed that “Musnad” represents a practical model to activate the role of the complex in transforming innovative ideas into concrete solutions that serve society, noting that the Hajj season represents an ideal opportunity to test these innovations in a realistic environment.
Al -Mahmoudi said: “We work through our partnerships with the private sector to enhance the research and development system in the health sector, and to provide an advanced infrastructure that supports innovators, and contributes to supporting medical efforts during the Hajj season and other important humanitarian activities.”
The smart bag is characterized by the direct communication feature with a network of specialized doctors, which allows the possibility of diagnosis and health care, especially in areas where it is difficult to reach health facilities, which received great attention from the medical and supervisory authorities during the current Hajj season.
For his part, Osama Shamsi Pasha, the founding partner and head of operations at the company “Dmitori”, expressed his pride in this cooperation, stressing that “Musnad” represents a qualitative shift in the field of mobile health care, thanks to the advanced technical environment provided by the “Sweilab” laboratory and the specialized team.
He explained that the partnership with the complex is an extension of a fruitful cooperation that included the development of previous solutions such as a “dctical chair”, which reflects the incubating environment of innovation supported by the complex.
