Jasperini is a new coach for Rome

Roma, the Italian first -class competitor, announced the appointment of Jean -Pierre Gasprini, a new coach of the team for three years.
Jasperini left Atlanta last Saturday after nine years of assuming the team’s training, and the retired Claudio Ranieri will replace the retired coach, as a coach of Rome who finished last season in fifth place to qualify for the European League, which is the championship that Jasperini had won with Atlanta.
Ranieri, 73, was the third coach to take over the responsibility of Rome last season when he returned to retire to lead the team, in which he started his career as a player, in his third term and is now a consultant position.
Jasperini announced last February that he would not renew his contract with Atlanta, which expires in June despite the extension option for one year.
“The Jasperini career was marked by creative plans, dedication to hard work and exceptionally developing players,” Roma said in a statement.
“Both the owner and Claudio Ranieri believe that Gasperini is the right man for the mission,” he added.
