The decision is also based on the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Organization, which was adopted during its 35th session in November 2024, which called for strengthening the status and participation of the State of Palestine in the work of the organization, including the attendance of the meetings of the Board of Directors, regional conferences, and technical committees. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates appreciated the positions of the countries that expressed their clear support for this decision, calling on countries that did not support the decision and isolated by their negative vote to review their positions, and to join the moral and consistent majority with international law.
