Iran: We are studying American proposals "New" We received it via Pakistan


Iran announced on Saturday that it is studying proposals "New" Received from The United States as part of mediation efforts led by Pakistanbetween them to put a final end to the war in Middle East.

It was stated in a statement by the General Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council published by the official news agency (IRNA) "In recent days, and through the visit of the Pakistani Army Commander (Asim Munir) to Tehran as a mediator in the negotiations, new proposals were presented by the Americans, which the Islamic Republic of Iran is currently considering, but has not yet responded to."

Iran-America Negotiations

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh announced on Saturday that no date has been set for the next round of negotiations between Iran and the United States, following the failure of the first round.

Khatib Zadeh told reporters on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. "We cannot set a date unless we agree on the framework"he continued "We hope to move to the next step once this is done".

He added "We are now focusing on finalizing the framework of understanding between the two sides. We do not want any negotiations or meetings that lead to failure that could be an excuse for another round of escalation".
