“Dubai Roads” begins the implementation of traffic improvements and traffic solutions at 40 Dubai sites during the summer

The Roads and Communications Authority has started the implementation of a set of improvements and traffic solutions in 40 vital sites at the level of the Emirate of Dubai, during the summer season for the current year, extending from June to September 2025. The new works include about 22 vital streets and a main area, 9 sites for school The summer vacation to reduce the effects of daily traffic, and ensure the provision of the highest safety standards in the targeted sites.

The authority is keen on continuous development in the infrastructure of the road network in the Emirate of Dubai to keep pace with urban growth and urban development in Dubai, and within the ongoing efforts to enhance the smooth flow of vehicles and traffic safety, reduce the time of flights and improve the connection between residential and educational areas and development areas in the Emirate of Dubai.

The next stage will witness a set of important traffic improvements in a number of vital sites, the most prominent of which are: the circular village of Jumeirah towards Hessa Street, Ras Al -Khor Street, Al -Thanya Street, and King Salman Street. The improvements will also include Al -Midan Street, Al -Saada Street, Al -Asayel Street, and the intersection of Al Wasl Street with Al Manara Street.

Within the framework of the authority’s keenness to enhance the smooth flow and traffic safety on educational facilities, the authority carries out a package of road works in 9 vital sites in the vicinity of schools, including the implementation of comprehensive improvements in the first school schools complex, and the establishment of an additional entrance for buses for James School in the third pink, expanding entrances and exits around the English College School in the first Safa area on Sheikh Zayed Road, and providing a pedestrian corridor governed by a signal Environment on Al -Sayedaf Street in the first Al Barsha, with the aim of ensuring the flow of traffic and reducing traffic sizes during the morning and noon peak times.

In line with the population growth and economic prosperity in the Emirate of Dubai, the authority focuses on implementing traffic solutions in five development areas, including the establishment of a direct entrance for the workers’ housing area in Al -Mutharena from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street, and the implementation of development work on Future Street (Brookfield) to facilitate access to the new residential complexes, and improve the link between Al -Khail Street and Al -Asayel Street via Al -Ma’a’ib Street, in addition to implementing traffic improvements at the intersection of Nad Al -Hamar (near Lootah Mosque), as well as establishing additional positions to serve the Zayed Educational Complex in the first al -Mutaina area.

The internal road works will be completed in separate areas in the emirate, such as Al -Tasan, Al -Tasanj, Al -Thawanej Al -Thani, Jabal Ali Industrial 1, and Al -Shaba, Al -Khukar and the completion of pedestrian corridors in the creative Al -Quoz area to enhance the safety of pedestrians.
