More than 1400 families benefit from the sacrificial project in Al Ain

Al Ain, June 9/ WAM/ The UAE Red Crescent Center in Al Ain region, yesterday, implemented a project to distribute sacrificial meat for the year 2025, with the aim of introducing joy to the hearts of the needy families and those with limited income on the occasion of Eid Al -Adha.
The project comes within the humanitarian and societal initiatives implemented by the Red Crescent annually, in order to enhance the values of social solidarity and compassion between members of society, and to consolidate the message of humanitarian giving, in conjunction with the “year of society”.
Dr. Ahmed Obaid Al Dhaheri, Director of the Emirates Red Crescent Center in Al Ain, stressed that the project is an extension of the charitable and humanitarian efforts made by the authority in cooperation with the benefactors and supporters, and reflects its continuous keenness to meet the needs of the beneficiary and needy groups, in a way that contributes to enhancing the concepts of solidarity and societal cohesion.
He said that the project benefited 1.432 families this year, including 3,800 individuals, from the categories due in Al Ain, as part of the campaign “Your Giving .. their Eid”, which was launched by the authority for this year, and includes sacrifices and Eid clothing, and aims to support needy families inside and outside the country.
He explained that the project aims to facilitate the performance of the ritual sacrifice on the benefactors, and to achieve the principle of social solidarity by delivering sacrifices to its beneficiaries.
For their part, a number of beneficiaries expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to the Emirati Red Crescent and those in charge of the project, for the attention and care they touched during this occasion, which is an opportunity to enhance the spirit of solidarity and alleviate the burdens of life.
