Kuala Lumpur on June 10/ WAM/ The Asian Football Confederation announced today the lists of clubs participating in its three club championships for men for the 2025-2026 season, which includes the AFC Champions League, “ACL ELITE”, the ACL Two, and the Asian Challenge League “ACL”, according to the distribution of final seats and club accreditation The licensed.
85 clubs representing 37 national federations will participate in the three championships, which reflects the AFC’s commitment to organizing high -level continental tournaments that contribute to the development of Asian football.
The preliminary stage matches of the “Attaché” championships will be held on August 12 and 13, 2025, while the group league draw will take place for both the AFC Champions League and the AFC Champions League 2 on August 15, while the AFC draw will be withdrawn on the 28th of the same month.
The AFC Champions League is witnessing the participation of 26 clubs representing six federations in each of the West and East regions, with 11 clubs who qualify directly to the group stage, and two clubs from each region competing through the “attachment” preliminaries, while the group stage competitions start on September 15.
The UAE in the AFC Champions League is represented by Al -Ahly Youth Club and Sharjah Club, who qualified directly to the group stage, along with Al -Wahda Club, which is participating in the preliminary qualifiers.
As for the AFC Champions League 2, which is the largest championship in terms of the number of clubs, it includes 29 teams who qualified directly to the group stage by 14 from the west and 15 from the east, in addition to six clubs participating in the preliminary stage, while the group stage begins on September 16, 2025, and the UAE participates in this tournament through Al -Wasl Club.
In the Asian Challenge Championship, 26 clubs participate, as the group stage includes 5 clubs from the west and 3 from the east, and the competitions start on October 25.
It is scheduled that the championship preliminary stage will witness the participation of 18 clubs by 10 from the west and 8 from the east, “provided that the matches will be confirmed later after the final lists were approved.
