A rise in the movement of travelers through the Fujairah International Airport during Eid al -Adha

Fujairah on June 10/ WAM/ Fujairah International Airport (FJR) witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of passengers during the Eid al -Adha period.
The airport recorded an increase in demand for flights to India, Maldives, Bangkok, Nepal, Jakarta, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The modern infrastructure, the ease of procedures and the speed of access from various emirates of the state contributed to enhancing the airport’s attractiveness among travelers.
Captain Ismail Mohamed Al Balushi, Director General of Fujairah International Airport, confirmed that this demand reflects the confidence of passengers in the airport services, pointing to the continued cooperation with airlines, such as “Indigo”, to expand the network of direct destinations.
He pointed to the positive impact of the increasing travel movement on the local economy, by supporting the guest and tourism sectors, stressing the airport’s commitment to providing a smooth and integrated travel experience, especially during peak seasons such as holidays and school holidays.
