"Ajman Volunteer" Celebrates"Right tonight"
Ajman, February 4, 2017 – The Ajman Volunteer Team, in cooperation and coordination with the Senior Citizens’ Happiness Center of the Ministry of Family, organized the celebration of the night of the middle of Shaban, “Haq Al Laila”, amid a joyful heritage atmosphere that brought together children of people of determination, senior citizens and volunteers.
Dr. Muhammad Hamad Dalwan Al Ketbi, founder and head of the Ajman Volunteer Team, stressed that the celebration aims to enhance human interaction, embody community cohesion, strive to preserve Emirati heritage and enhance the values of social communication between generations.
He pointed out that the “Haq Al Laila” celebration constitutes a social occasion rooted in Emirati heritage, as it celebrates the night of the middle of Sha’ban and expresses preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan.
The celebration included a group of traditional performances that reflected the depth of the Emirati folk heritage, and popular songs that embodied the authentic, inherited customs.
