“Investopia Global” launches the new economy dialogues in Cyprus

Investopia announced the launch of the first version of its global dialogues in Cyprus, yesterday, which is “Intestopia – Mediterranean”, with the aim of enhancing the opportunities for investment partnerships between the UAE and the Mediterranean countries, in the new economy, tourism, entrepreneurship and innovation, energy, renewable energy and logistical transport, as well as the exchange of visions and discussions on modern global trends of financing tools, including financing solutions Sustainable, innovative and financial technology.

The Ministry of Economy stated, in a statement, that it participated in the event, which was held in cooperation with the company “IMH”, a wide range of ministers, government officials, representatives of private sector companies, businessmen, investors, decision makers, entrepreneurs in the Emirates, Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece and Europe, where the number of participants in this version reached 300 people.

The Minister of Economy, President of the Intensopia, Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri, stressed that the UAE and Cyprus are brought together with strategic relations and distinct economic partnership in all areas of mutual interest, as these bilateral relations have great support from the wise leadership in the two countries, and an ambitious vision to upgrade them towards wider horizons from cooperation and partnership in all sectors in a way that is prosperous and prosperous over their people.

He said: «Economic cooperation between the UAE and Cyprus is witnessing continuous growth, as Emirati markets embrace about 1850 Cypriot companies operating in various activities and fields, and Cyprus is an important economic gateway to expanding Emirati companies in European vital markets, given its strategic geographical location in the European continent, and we look forward to strengthening cooperation with our partners in the Cypriot government and the private sector in new projects In the new economy sectors, energy, education, logistical transport and technology.

Bin Touq added during his participation, yesterday, in one of the event sessions entitled “Opening the prospects for cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the eastern Mediterranean”: “Today we are witnessing the launch of the first (Intensopia global) dialogues in Cyprus, and through which we seek to build a new bridge of fruitful economic and investment cooperation between the UAE and the countries of the Mediterranean region, especially since the state views this region as a strategic economic partner, as We believe in the importance of integration between the economies of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the countries of this region, as it represents a vital opportunity to provide a flexible and varied economic corridor based on innovation, which contributes to enhancing the process of comprehensive economic development regionally and globally.

In addition, Ben Touk and the Greek Minister of Tourism, Olga Kivalayani, announced the launch of the second edition of the “Intestopia” event in Greece next year, with the aim of strengthening partnerships in the sectors of the new economy, tourism, innovation, entrepreneurship, renewable energy, digital infrastructure and food security.

The second edition of the “Intestopia – Mediterranean” will be organized in cooperation with a number of ministries and government agencies in the UAE and Greece, as well as “Intestopia” partners, where this step comes at a time when “Investopia” works to accelerate the pace of its expansion and enhance its presence at the regional and international levels, especially after it was organized three consecutive copies of the “Investopia – Europe” dialogues in Milan Italian Milan During the period between 2023 and 2025, it will be transferred to Berlin in June next year.
