ADNOC Distribution issued its annual sustainability report for 2024

Abu Dhabi, June 11 / WAM / ADNOC Distribution Company issued its annual sustainability report for 2024, which highlights strategic achievements in the areas of transformation towards clean energy, promoting sustainable processes, developing national competencies, and expanding societal impact.

The issuance of the report comes in line with the UAE’s vision to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, and within the framework of the adhered to ADNOC Group to achieve net ziomas by 2045. The report was prepared according to the standards of the Global Initiative to Prepare Reports (GRI).

Engineer Badr Saeed Al -Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, expressed his pride in the concrete progress made by ADNOC distributed in her career towards sustainability, innovation and responsible growth.

ADNOC Distribution added that I worked to enhance the classification of environmental and social governance and corporate governance (ESG), and to expand the electric vehicle charging network to include 220 shipping points, and has implemented more than 20 projects supported by artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and promote sustainability.

He pointed out that the percentage of resettlement exceeding 62%and the investment of 3.9 million dirhams in community initiatives reflects the company’s deep commitment to support national growth and make an effective social impact.

Al -Lamki emphasized that ADNOC Distribution continues to consolidate its position as a leading company in sustainability through transparent governance, strong financial results, and future initiatives that lead to a more balanced and sustainable future.

During the year 2024, ADNOC Distribution has achieved a set of important achievements in the fields of the environment, society and governance, which reflects its deep commitment to sustainability and comprehensive development. On the environmental level, the company managed to convert its entire fleet inside the country into the use of biofuels, which contributed to reducing the equivalent of 1,468 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, as it continued to expand in Sustainable infrastructure by installing 220 electric charging points fully operating with renewable energy, as well as generating 5,083 megawatts/hour of solar energy.

As part of its commitment to spreading clean energy, solar panels were installed in 31 service stations within its network, as well as cultivating more than 25,000 Managruvous seedlings through the “ADNOC rewards” application, in an initiative that enhances the protection of the marine environment.

In order to reduce waste, the company recycled more than 5.8 million packages through recovery machines, and also succeeded in reducing the equivalent of 561 tons of carbon dioxide emissions thanks to the development of the fleet management system.

On the community level, the company has invested approximately 3.98 million dirhams in community initiatives and social responsibility programs, confirming its role as an active partner in the development of the local community.

“ADNOC Distribution” attracted 3,805 new employees from more than 15 nationalities, and achieved a distinguished localization rate of 62%, which reflects its commitment to support national competencies.

The company also contributed to strengthening the national economy by achieving a local added value of 71.4% of the total contracts. Customer satisfaction rate was 96%, thanks to the high -quality services provided by the company.

In the field of training and development, the company implemented 142,211 training hours, and included awareness -raising awareness programs and environmental and social governance training more than 900 employees, which contributes to building an institutional culture based on knowledge and sustainability.
