Cooperation between the UAE Human Resources Development and Community Development Council in Dubai

Dubai, June 12/ WAM/ The UAE Human Resources Development Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the Community Development Authority in Dubai, to consolidate the bonds of cooperation and achieve common goals in the areas of community empowerment, which contributes to increasing the opportunities for employing citizens and citizens from the Emirate of Dubai, and enhancing their participation in the economic and social development process in the emirate.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Dubai Government, Vice -President of the UAE Human Resources Development Council, and His Excellency Hessa Bint Issa Bouhamid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai.

The two parties seek to support the emirate’s plans to enable national competencies, by launching qualitative programs and initiatives based on the principle of active partnership between government agencies, and providing appropriate job opportunities for citizens of both sexes.
His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al -Falasi said that the memo represents a prominent step in activating the institutional partnerships that aim to open new horizons for citizens from the people of Dubai, and reflects the fixed commitment to translate the leadership vision into practical initiatives that cause tangible change in the lives of citizens and support their aspirations towards a prosperous future.

He added that the department is working to convert community councils, which constitute a link between individuals and the authorities responsible for employment, into effective platforms to attract competencies and direct them to appropriate opportunities, in a way that enhances the principle of equal opportunities and raises the quality of employment.

For her part, His Excellency Hessa Bint Issa Bouhamid said that this memorandum embodies a strategic step that enhances the integration of institutional efforts in enabling society members and finding practical paths that open the doors of opportunities for them, and this partnership comes based on a firm conviction that man is the essence and purpose of development, in line with the vision of the Emirate of Dubai in building a coherent, productive and strict society.

She pointed out that this step will be the beginning of a new start, for qualitative initiatives that cause a real impact, meet the aspirations of the community, and support their stability and their long -term empowerment.
The memo works to consolidate cooperation between the two parties to provide qualitative packages that facilitate the integration of employees in the work environment, through direct career guidance, and to provide directed training and employment opportunities, in a way that contributes to raising the readiness of the national cadres to join appropriate job opportunities in various sectors.
This cooperation also supports the empowerment plan for the Community Development Authority, which aims to improve the quality of the lives of citizens and their economic empowerment, in line with the comprehensive development vision of the Emirate of Dubai, and this initiative embodies a leading model of integration between government agencies concerned with resettlement and societal empowerment.

This cooperation contributes to raising the efficiency of coordination between the two parties by exchanging relevant data and information, and developing joint work mechanisms to provide appropriate assistance to job seekers, in a way that meets their professional and living needs within the framework of the empowerment plan approved by the Community Development Authority.
