Abu Dhabi, June 12 / WAM / Edge Group and Leonardo announced today a strategic partnership to create an advanced technology center in Abu Dhabi, which has strategic capabilities that enable it to serve global markets through a unified approach based on cooperation.
The partnership agreement was signed by His Excellency Faisal Abdulaziz Al -Bannai, Advisor to the President of the State for Advanced Strategic and Technology Research Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Edge Group, and Roberto Singolani, CEO and General Manager of Leonardo, where the agreement represents the latest step to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
The new joint project will be a leading achievement in the global defense cooperation sector, as it covers multiple fields and merges a range of the most advanced and developed technologies, including driving, maritime control and missile defense systems of combat systems; Independent aircraft control systems; And the air capabilities of multi -task marine aircraft; Electronic optics; And air defense; And high -performance computing electronics for missile applications.
