The President of the State and the Prime Minister of Pakistan are discussing cooperation relations between the two countries and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, received today the state of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is on a work visit to the state.

His Highness and the Pakistani Prime Minister – at the beginning of the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al -Adha..Sheer the Almighty asked to return this blessed occasion to the two countries and their people with good and blessing and the Islamic peoples and the world as a whole with stability and peace.

His Highness and the Pakistani Prime Minister discussed during the meeting … the joint cooperation paths between the two countries, especially in the economic, investment and development fields … stressing their keenness to continue to enhance constructive cooperation between the two countries and expand its fields towards wider horizons of growth and progress, in a way that serves their common interests and supports their development vision towards achieving prosperity for their people.

The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, and exchanged views on them..and in this context they emphasized the importance of supporting international efforts to maintain stability and consolidate regional and international peace.

The Pakistani Prime Minister praised the efforts of His Highness the President of the State in preserving stability, peace and regional and global security, appreciating the pivotal role of Emirati diplomacy in promoting dialogue and creating common grounds for diplomatic solutions in addressing conflicts and crises in the region and the world .. He also expressed his appreciation for the continuous support that the UAE provides to Pakistan and its qualitative development initiatives in this regard.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan had arrived earlier today, Abu Dhabi, where he was received at Al -Bateen Airport, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, National Security Adviser and a number of senior officials.
