Serbian praise of Dubai Police Initiatives in Community Innovation and Institutional Welfare

Dubai, June 14/ WAM/ Lt. Col. Dalibor Christatic, head of the wanted team in the Ministry of Interior in the Republic of Serbia, praised the Dubai Community Police initiatives, describing it as a pioneering model in building societal confidence and enhancing transparency through proactive communication, and interest in the health and welfare of its human cadres as well as technical excellence.
This came during his participation in the specialized diploma program in police innovation and international leaders (PIL), organized by the Dubai Police General Command in cooperation with the Rochester Institute of Technology, with the participation of a group of officers from 38 countries.
Krestaic explained that the program changed his view of innovation in law enforcement, praising the Dubai Police experience in integrating psychological and social care within the police work system, which he considered a foolish aspect in many police services around the world.
He pointed out that he intends to share the experiences he had seen with the Department of Psychology in the Serbian Ministry of Interior, especially the initiatives of the Council of Happiness and Moral Support, stressing that the program gave it effective tools in organizational planning, adaptive leadership, and the foresight of the future.
He said: “Although my work is field, the diploma on strategic leadership has given me new prospects for development, and I learned how to think about exceeding daily tasks,” noting that what distinguished the program is its dependence on realistic experiences and field experiences, and not only on theoretical offering.
He stressed that innovation is no longer confined to the technological aspect, but rather includes reformulating traditional work methods in a more humane and intelligent way, which is the most important lesson that came out of the program.
He expressed his pride in the participation of the Serbian teams in the UAE challenge for the tactical teams organized by the Dubai Police last February, stressing that such activities enhance international police cooperation in facing security challenges.
