Nahyan bin Mubarak receives the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh .. and confirms the strength of relations between the two countries

Abu Dhabi, June 15 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received in his council in Abu Dhabi City, His Excellency Mr. Lotfi Siddiqui, the Special Envoy for His Excellency the Senior Adviser (Prime Minister) of the government of the Republic of Bangladesh, who visits the state in the context of strengthening bilateral communication between the two friendly countries.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan welcomed the guest, praising the depth of the strategic relations that link the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Bangladesh, which was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who believed in the importance of providing bridges of cooperation with South Asian countries, especially Bangladesh, which is gathered in the Emirates, deep human, cultural and economic ties.

His Excellency stressed that these strong relations, which were established by the founding leader, continue their development and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, which depends on openness, constructive cooperation, respect for sovereignty and promoting common interests, pointing to the remarkable development witnessed by relations between the two countries in various fields, which reflects the desire of the two sides to raise them towards a more comprehensive and effective partnership.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Lotfi Siddiqi expressed his great thanks and gratitude to His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan for the warm reception, praising the position of the UAE and its pioneering role in supporting sustainable development efforts regionally and internationally, in addition to its commitment to the values ​​of coexistence, moderation and cultural openness.

The Special Envoy stressed that the Republic of Bangladesh pays great attention to strengthening its relations with the UAE, noting that this visit comes within the framework of his country’s keenness to develop practical cooperation and expand its scope to serve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples, and he stressed that the relations of the two countries represent a role model in international cooperation based on common values ​​and mutual understanding.

The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two sides on various issues of common concern, and seeking to explore new fields of strategic cooperation, in line with the vision of the two countries for a future that is peace and stability, and enhances regional and international prosperity.
