المملكة: 565 thousand so far.. Saudi Arabia continues its efforts to clear Yemen of mines


The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center project has succeeded "Pores" To clear Yemeni lands of mines during the first week of June 2026 AD, by removing (798) mines in various regions of Yemen, including (6) anti-tank mines, (11) anti-personnel mines, and (781) unexploded ordnance.

A team removed "Pores" In Aden Governorate (226) unexploded ordnance, and in Hays District in Hodeidah Governorate, the team removed one unexploded ordnance, (11) anti-personnel mines and (519) unexploded ordnance in Al-Mukalla District in Hadhramaut Governorate, and in Al-Wadi District in Ma’rib Governorate the team removed (3) anti-tank mines.

And in Midi District in Hajjah Governorate the team removed (3) Anti-tank mines and (22) unexploded ordnances. In Taiz Governorate, (9) unexploded ordnances were removed in Dhubab District, two unexploded ordnances were removed in Cairo District, and two unexploded ordnances were removed in Saluh District.

Masam Project

The number of mines removed has increased since the beginning of the project. "Pores" So far, there have been (565,137) mines, after they were planted randomly in various Yemeni lands to claim the innocent lives of children, women and the elderly, and to plant fear in the hearts of the safe.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, continues its efforts to clear Yemeni lands of mines, within a project that enhances the safety of civilians and contributes to enabling the Yemeni brothers to live a dignified and safe life.
