المملكة: Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.. Details of the Kingdom’s hosting of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Conference


Sponsored by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – the Kingdom hosts the work of the thirty-ninth session of .

It is organized by and the Arab Parliamentary Union, during the period from 24 to 25 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to June 10 to 11, 2026 AD, – via video communication – with the participation of Their Excellencies the Speakers of Arab parliaments and legislative councils, and representatives of a number of organizations.

The Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al The Sheikh expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – for the generous sponsorship of the work of the thirty-ninth session of the Arab Parliamentary Union Conference.

He stressed that it reflects the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – to strengthen joint Arab cooperation and highlight the effective role of the importance of Arab solidarity in It preserves regional security and stability, and the Kingdom’s interest in achieving development and prosperity for the peoples of the Arab world.

He said: "Joint Arab action represents a fundamental foundation for confronting current challenges, and an important starting point for unifying positions and coordinating parliamentary efforts. In a way that contributes to enhancing stability, protecting common Arab interests, activating the role of parliaments in supporting development paths, and consolidating the values ​​of dialogue and integration among Arab countries."

Supporting joint Arab parliamentary work

He pointed out that the Shura Council is pleased with the participation of Their Excellencies, heads of the Arab legislative councils and representatives of a number of organizations in the work of the thirty-ninth session of the Arab Parliamentary Union Conference.

He looks forward to the conference’s outcomes contributing to supporting joint Arab parliamentary work and strengthening parliamentary diplomacy as an effective tool for serving Arab issues regionally and internationally.
