Abdullah bin Zayed and the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs are discussing the developments in the region

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed, during a telephone conversation today, with Dr. Supernam Gaishhakar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Friendly Republic of India, developments in the Middle East region and its repercussions on regional peace and security, in the wake of the Israeli military targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

His Highness and Dr. Supernam Jaishhankar discussed ways to enhance efforts to reduce escalation and avoid the expansion of the conflict in the region.

The phone call also dealt with the importance of dialogue and diplomacy channels in addressing outstanding issues, and supporting all endeavors aimed at preserving regional and international peace and security.
