Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi is witnessing a graduation ceremony for students of Sharjah University

Sharjah, June 16/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, President of Sharjah University, witnessed this morning the graduation ceremony of the university’s bachelor’s degree students, the Spring 2025 batch, which number 566 graduates, at the University City Hall.

The ceremony was started with the national peace of the UAE, followed by fragrant verses from the wise dhikr, after which Dr. Essam El -Din Ajami, Director of Sharjah University, delivered a speech during which he thanked His Highness the President of Sharjah University for his honor and attendance at the graduation ceremony, his continuous support and his continuous follow -up to the university’s march and its students, and congratulated graduates of the bachelor’s degree and their families, indicating that it was a day of harvest To be achieved except with their belief in the message of knowledge and achievement, their insistence on reaching the summit, supporting their families, their distinguished professors, and a university that did not hold them up with anything.

Ajami pointed out that Sharjah University celebrates today the graduation of a distinguished constellation of students of the various colleges at the university, which embodies the pillars of civilized construction, national development, and the future, explaining that this ceremony is the conclusion of the series of graduation celebrations for this year and touched on the most prominent figures that the university has achieved since its foundation by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in 1997 where more than 48 thousand graduates graduated from A graduate, today they occupy leadership sites, and contribute to the development of their societies inside and outside the country.

He explained that 65 % of the university students and their graduates are female students, and they express the pivotal role of women and their qualitative weight in the university’s fabric and career.

Ajami pointed out that Sharjah University is coordinating integral and constructive with the institutions of higher education in the emirate, which falls under the umbrella of the Sharjah Council for Higher Education, and contributes effectively and strongly to achieving the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, in implementing projects and renaissance activities, in addition to close cooperation with the relevant federal bodies and ministries, stressing the university’s keenness to communicate and cooperate with higher education institutions and scientific research around the world to ensure Distinguish, quality and modernity of its programs and activities, keeping pace with the developments, developments and rapid technologies, to return directly to society and its development, and the effective contribution to analyzing its issues and finding appropriate solutions to them, and distinguishing and sustaining performance.

The director of Sharjah University addressed the female graduates, saying: “Your journey in the rehab of this university was full of science and knowledge, characterized by persistence and diligence, and relied on firm values ​​in seeking knowledge, mastery, and ambition towards a bright future, if your graduation today is not the end of the day, but the beginning of a new era in which you bear the responsibility of the active contribution to building the homeland and the elevation of society, and each of your colleges was distinguished Community service and its development, in important areas, which no society is indispensable.

He thanked and appreciated the faculty members for all the knowledge and guidance they presented, and the values ​​and skills they planted, and they were the blessing of the role model and the educator.

The graduate, Hafsa Abdel Nasser Omar, from the College of Engineering, delivered the speech of the graduates expressing her great joy on this day and confirmed that fatigue is fruitful, and that every step with steadfastness is blooming, and that the road, no matter how long, its end is light and glory that deserves, congratulating the graduates.

She thanked His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, who had knowledge of Aba, and for the renaissance for us, and the thought has a wing that flying in generations towards the horizons.

Hafsa Abdel Nasser valued the efforts of His Highness the President of Sharjah University, who did not see it as mere buildings and halls, but rather saw them as a science mine, and a paved aspiration, noting that His Highness’s messages were exceptional from which he was determined.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi handed certificates to the female graduates from Hama Bachelor’s programs in the colleges of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, Fine Arts and Design, Communication, Science, Computing and Informatics, and Public Policies, blessing His Highness to the graduates and wishing them success in their upcoming lives.
