"Words Foundation" 135 thousand dirhams gathered in support of Gaza children in cooperation with the Red Crescent
Sharjah, June 16/ WAM/ The Foundation of the Foundation’s Non -profitable Foundation, which is based in the United Arab Emirates, presented its headquarters and aims to empower children by facilitating access to books and knowledge a donation of 135 thousand dirhams in favor of the “Tarhm – for Gaza” humanitarian campaign organized by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
The donation amount comes as a result of the sales of a group of products inspired by the Palestinian heritage of the initiative launched by the Foundation entitled “Nakita in the hope of Gaza”, which has received wide societal support and formed a platform for human solidarity with the people of Gaza, and the donation was officially delivered in the UAE Red Crescent branch in Sharjah in a move confirming the commitment of Words Foundation to transform creativity and collective work into a way to support the needy.
Amna Al -Mazmi, Director of Kalimat Foundation, said that the wide response to the campaign “Nakita in the hope of Gaza” was very impressive and reflected our desire to provide urgent support and expressed the solidarity of our fixed society with the children of Gaza in these difficult times.
The “Nakitah Hope of Gaza” campaign brought together cultural creativity and humanitarian work and was launched in solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially children who suffer from the effects of war and included products inspired by the symbols of Palestinian culture, such as the famous keffiyeh pattern and traditional Palestinian embroidery.
