The demand for basic machines in Japan decreased in April

Tokyo on June 18 / WAM / The Japanese government office data issued today, Wednesday, showed the value of orders on the basic machines in Japan during the month of April by 9.1% per month after the seasonal variables in the account were placed to 919 billion yen (6.33 billion dollars), while analysts expected to decline by 9.3% compared to their increase by 13% during March.

On an annual basis, the demand for machines increased by 6.6% during April, while analysts expected 4% growth after growing by 8.4% during the previous month.

The total value of orders received by 280 manufacturing companies in Japan decreased by 2.3% per month, while it increased by 0.6% annually during April.
