Cooperation between Anwar Gargash Diplomacy and Forum "Glosic"
Abu Dhabi, June 18 / WAM / Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Glosic Forum, a global research center concerned with enhancing security, prosperity and sustainability in Europe and around the world, stipulating the appointment of the academy as a major institutional partner during the period from 2025 to 2027.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by His Excellency Nikolai Mladenov, Director General of the Academy, and Robert Fes, the founder of “Glosic” and its president.
The Glosic Forum, which is held annually, is a key European platform for dialogue that brings together global leaders, policy makers and experts of various specializations to study and address critical issues such as security, economic development, climate change and technology.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed before the 2025 edition of the forum, which was held during the period from 12 to 14 June in Prague, the Czech Republic, in which His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Vice -Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees.
Under this cooperation, the Anwar Gargash Diplomacy Academy contributes to the elaboration of the forum’s agenda during the next three years, through its active participation in the main programs, advice on pivotal issues and speakers, and contributing to organizing events, as well as supporting media meetings and interactions to enhance the institutional impact of the forum.
His Excellency Nikolai Mladenov said that the UAE is supportive of multilateral dialogue and pragmatic diplomacy, and that the academy contributes through this cooperation with the Glosic Forum to communicate the voices of the Arab region to the whole world, and is effectively involved in formulating global policies at a time when confidence, dialogue and coordinated work is more important than ever.
For his part, Robert Fez said that the joining of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy as a major institutional partner adds a strategic dimension to the Glosic Forum; As the deep experience that the UAE possesses in the fields of mediation in resolving conflicts, food security, climate diplomacy, and regional cooperation, it embodies an advocacy approach in global governance.
