Committee"Federal National" The report of a federal draft law on agricultural stone adopts
Abu Dhabi, June 18/ WAM/ The Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee approved during the Federal National Council, during its virtual meeting held today, headed by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Eid Al -Mansoori, Chairman of the Committee, the report of a federal draft law on agricultural stone, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
The members of the committee, His Excellency the Hashima of Yasser Al -Afari, the committee, and Salem Hamad Al -Amiri, Majid Muhammad Al -Mazrouei, and the victim of Salem Al -Menhali, members of the Federal National Council participated in the meeting.
The draft law, which consists of (28) articles, aims to prevent the entry and spread of pests within the state, protect the environment and plant resources from all types of agricultural pests, and reduce dependence on chemical control and protect public health and the environment.
The articles of the bill deal with definitions and general provisions, the objectives of the law, the competencies of the ministry, the import, export or transit of agricultural charges, the disclosure of materials subject to plant health regulations or beneficial organisms, inspection, measures taken when suspected of a stone scourge, stone lifting, plant health measures to eradicate the stone scourge, emergency or unexpected problems, and materials It is prohibited from entering the state, identifying stone centers or sites, importing beneficial organisms or materials subject to plant health regulations, some controls for exporting agricultural shipment, the time period needed to export them, judicial seizure, and law implementation.
